Road Technician

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12

  • Degree or National Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the design, construction, and maintenance of road infrastructure and civil engineering projects
  • Valid Driver’s Licence

Key Performance Areas

  • Conduct inspections and maintenance of municipal roads
  • Supervise road construction projects and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to road conditions and projects
  • Collaborate with contractors to ensure timely project completion
  • Meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
