Position: Retail Sales Assistant
Canal Walk, Cape Town (Western Cape)
Employment Type: Full Time
Minimum Education: Matric Certificate
Experience: 1 year (retail experience advantageous)
Department: Retail Sales & Operations
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service experiences
- Manage stock levels and place replenishment orders
- Process sales transactions and maintain inventory accuracy
- Maintain store presentation standards
- Adhere to company policies and operational procedures
- Develop product knowledge through company training programs
Candidate Requirements:
- Matric/NQF Level 4 certification essential
- Proven customer service skills
- Physical ability to handle stock (lifting up to 15kg)
- Flexibility to work weekends and peak retail hours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Genuine interest in animal care and retail operations
