Position Overview
Seeking a PhD-qualified researcher to drive innovation commercialization and support agricultural enterprises through cutting-edge research and strategic development.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate commercial viability of agricultural innovations
- Conduct market analysis and technology assessments
- Develop commercialization strategies and business models
- Manage intellectual property portfolios
- Facilitate industry partnerships and spinout creation
- Mentor students and junior researchers
- Secure research funding through grant proposals
Essential Requirements
- PhD in Biotechnology/Agronomy/Plant Science or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in plant compound analysis (LC-MS, GC-MS)
- Proven track record with 3-5 peer-reviewed publications
- Experience in research project management and team leadership
- Demonstrated success in securing research funding
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with biologicals development
- Cultivation R&D expertise
- Professional registration with scientific body
