Position Overview:

Parliament of South Africa seeks qualified researcher to support environmental governance and policy development. Role involves strategic research, parliamentary support, and policy analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct policy-focused environmental research
– Prepare briefing documents for parliamentary committees
– Analyze legislation and identify policy gaps
– Support international parliamentary engagements
– Monitor sustainable resource management practices
– Develop reports for oversight visits and public hearings
– Maintain current knowledge of environmental legislation

Essential Requirements:

– Honours Degree in environmental/natural sciences
