1. Researcher (22000184)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support policy development aligned with economic strategies
• Conduct feasibility studies and policy audits
• Prepare research reports and stakeholder communications
• Assist project design and administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Honours Degree in Economics/Development Economics (NQF 8)
• 3+ years policy development experience
• Valid driver’s license & computer proficiency
• Preferred: Master’s Degree, 4+ years experience

2. Research Advisor (22000184B)

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze policy effectiveness and economic trends
• Lead sector-specific research initiatives
• Manage project timelines and budgets
• Represent department in external forums

Requirements:

• Honours Degree in Economics/Development Economics (NQF 8)
• 4+ years relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license & computer skills
• Preferred: Master’s Degree, 5+ years experience

3. Senior Research Advisor (22000184C)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee major research projects and policy audits
• Develop monitoring/evaluation frameworks
• Lead stakeholder engagements nationwide
• Mentor junior research staff

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Economics (NQF 9)
• 5+ years policy development experience
• Valid driver’s license & computer proficiency
• Preferred: 6+ years experience
