Research Technician – Laboratory Instrumentation Technician

Core Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain agricultural measurement equipment (lab/field/greenhouse)
- Conduct crop performance tests and soil analysis experiments
- Supervise technical staff and manage project resources
- Operate laboratory quality management systems
- Collect and analyze research data
- Prepare technical reports and present findings
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Support development of new agricultural technologies
Essential Qualifications:
- National Diploma in Agriculture, Bioresources Engineering or related field
- Valid driver’s license with long-distance driving capability
- Technical proficiency in laboratory instrumentation
- Basic understanding of crop production systems
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
Advantageous Skills:
- BTech/BSc degree qualification
- Professional registration with scientific body
- Experience with irrigation system instrumentation
