Key Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological analyses including Total Aerobic Count, E. coli detection, Salmonella testing, and antibiotic residue analysis
- Execute laboratory procedures according to ISO 17025 and quality assurance standards
- Manage sample processing, data recording, and timely reporting of results
- Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot technical issues
- Oversee inventory management and chemical procurement
- Ensure compliance with health/safety protocols and laboratory cleanliness
- Support training of junior staff members
Requirements
- National Diploma in Microbiology/Biotechnology
- 3 years’ hands-on lab experience
- Familiarity with accredited laboratory operations (ISO 17025 preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and data management systems
- Valid driver’s license/own transportation
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
