About the Role
Join our team at the Agricultural Research Council to deliver excellence in analytical services and support critical agricultural research projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate analytical methods using HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, and ICP technologies
- Perform chemical analysis of plant and environmental samples
- Maintain ISO 17025 quality standards in laboratory operations
- Supervise junior staff and coordinate research activities
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality management systems
Requirements
- National Diploma or degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field
- 3+ years’ hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation
- Knowledge of chromatography techniques and laboratory QA/QC processes
- Proficiency in data analysis and technical documentation
- Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
- Registration with scientific professional body (preferred)
