Position Details

• Employment Type: Contract
• Required Qualification: National Certificate (NQF 6) in Natural/Environmental Sciences or Agriculture
• Experience Required: 3 years in GIS/spatial analysis
• Department: Research & Development

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate field research activities and project implementation
• Collect and analyze ecological data including rangeland restoration metrics
• Create maps using QGIS/ArcGIS for spatial planning
• Supervise junior staff and field teams
• Maintain safety compliance and equipment protocols
• Engage with local communities on agricultural projects

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience with environmental dataset management
• Valid Code 8/10 Driver’s License
• Technical skills in geospatial analysis tools
• Strong reporting and communication abilities
