Position Details

- Qualifications: National Diploma/BTech/BHSc in Veterinary Technology or related field
- Professional Requirement: Registration with SAVC as a Veterinary Technologist (mandatory)
- Experience: Open to candidates with relevant academic background

Job Responsibilities
- Conduct viral serology tests (HA/HI, AGID, ELISA, VNT) on veterinary samples in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards
- Manage sample intake, registration, and accurate storage
- Maintain detailed records in lab systems and result logs
- Collaborate on developing/improving testing methodologies
- Provide technical support for research projects
Key Requirements
- Knowledge of veterinary viral pathogens and diagnostic procedures
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
