Rental Technicians – Driver (Night Shift and Weekends)

This role is part of our Rental Operations team. As a Rental Technician – Driver, you will play a key role in delivering, installing, and collecting rental systems (such as pumps and mattresses) to healthcare facilities. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver, install, and collect rental systems (pumps and mattresses) efficiently, within SLA time frames of 4 hours.
• Build strong relationships with customers in hospitals, aged care facilities, and clinics.
• Troubleshoot and fault-find on medical pumps and mattresses.
• Maintain adequate stock in the vehicle for efficient service turnaround.
• Keep the company vehicle in good condition and accordance with company policies.
• Advise management of market trends and developments.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and stock takes.
• Use cleaning agents safely and correctly for equipment disinfection.
• Work night shifts on weekdays and every Saturday and Sunday (rostered with 5 days off in a 14-day cycle, totaling 65 working hours).

Administrative Tasks:

• Complete and upload installation and cancellation documentation.
• Maintain daily asset count records.
• Assist with other administrative duties as needed.

Quality System Responsibilities:

• Ensure all work complies with quality requirements and standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Valid driver’s license and experience in driving and maintaining a company vehicle.
• Ability to work independently.
