Regional Sales Manager: Water & General Industry

Job Summary
- We are looking for a skilled salesperson with technical knowledge. You will influence customers to choose our brand by explaining its features and benefits. You will help with decisions on specifying and buying process equipment, including flow control parts.
Responsibilities
- Increase annual sales to meet company goals and support strategic plans.
- Promote and support sales in your territory.
- Learn about the target market, products, and industries.
- Add value through your energy and drive for success.
- Suggest changes in representation or market focus to achieve financial goals and create new sales channels for the Water & General Industry portfolio.
- Work with the global key accounts team to win large projects in your territory.
- Manage existing sales channels in the region, including setting targets, reviewing performance, submitting monthly reports, developing sales strategies, and taking corrective actions if needed.
- Provide technical product training to representatives and distributors in the region.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s; preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 3 – 5 years of experience.
- Candidates with strong experience and formal postgraduate training in related technologies or industries will also be considered.
Language – French and English
Travel & Work Arrangements
- Flexible hybrid work with 50% travel.
Key Competencies
Essential Skills for the Role
- The ideal Regional Manager can sell through independent channels and directly. You should have experience managing engineering, procurement, and construction firms (EPCs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and key accounts. You build strong relationships based on trust, honesty, and expertise.
- At least five years of experience selling pumps and related process equipment in water, industrial, power, municipal, and similar markets.
- A proven track record of selling to end users via manufacturers’ representatives and independent distributors.
- Solid knowledge of chemical treatment technology and systems in target industries.
- Skills in working effectively with specifying engineers.
