Organization Overview
The Media, Information & Communication Technologies SETA drives skills development in South Africa’s ICT and media sectors under the Skills Development Act (No.97 of 1998).
Position Details
- Employment Type: Contract Position
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) required – HR/Public Administration or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience: 4+ years in Training & Development
- Location: East London, Eastern Cape
- Sector: Education/Administration
Key Requirements
- Project management certification (advantageous)
- 2+ years project coordination experience
- Understanding of Skills Development legislation
- Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel nationally
Core Responsibilities
Program Management:
- Coordinate regional skills development initiatives
- Monitor training program implementation
- Conduct project site evaluations
Quality Assurance:
- Verify provider accreditation status
- Conduct provider capacity workshops
- Monitor certification compliance
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build partnerships with educational institutions
- Organize skills development forums
- Support workplace training initiatives
