About Us:
Lepelle Northern Water is a nationally-recognized water services provider operating under Water Services Act No 108 of 1997. We deliver bulk water supply and purification services through multiple treatment plants across Limpopo Province.
Minimum Requirements:
- BEng/BSc Engineering (Chemical/Civil) or BSc Honours (Chemistry/Microbiology/Environmental Science)
- Valid professional registration with ECSA (Pr.Eng) or SACNASP
- 10-15 years’ experience in water/wastewater treatment operations
- 5+ years senior management experience
- Master’s degree (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operational management of water purification and distribution systems
- Oversee regional maintenance programs and water quality compliance
- Manage operational budgets (CAPEX/OPEX) and revenue targets
- Direct scientific services and laboratory operations
- Ensure compliance with SANS 241 water quality standards
- Develop risk management strategies and policies
- Lead infrastructure asset management and project implementation
