Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • National Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • Valid Code C1 driver’s license (PDP and equipment licenses advantageous)
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office Suite)
  • MFMA compliance eligibility
  • 3-5 years’ experience in roads/stormwater management
  • Local government experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train maintenance teams
  • Coordinate road construction and repair projects
  • Address public infrastructure concerns
  • Manage work orders and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Maintain operational records and reports
  • Perform emergency standby duties

  • ECSA professional registration
