Introduction

This role provides professional reporting and accounting support services in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Eskom policies, procedures, and relevant laws. It supports strong financial control and discipline.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage general ledger accounts and ensure tax compliance.
  • Facilitate and maintain financial controls.
  • Prepare and complete financial accounting, management reports, packs, and schedules.
  • Prepare and compile tax, related party, and inter-company schedules.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Control access to financial systems, workflows, and information delegation.
  • Manage month-end periodic processing.
  • Mentor and coach team members.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

  • B Degree / B Tech / National Higher Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Finance / Accounting / Economics at NQF 7 with 360 credits.

Related Experience:

  • Experience in financial reporting, accounting, taxation, internal controls, and financial management.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
