The Quality Assurer will handle provincial skills development providers, assessment centers, accreditation and certification processes, artisan development, monitoring and evaluation, quality checks on learner achievements, workplace approvals, stakeholder training, and registration of assessors and moderators.

  • Provide guidance and support to providers, help register assessors and moderators, promote high-quality services, and ensure compliance with laws. Represent LGSETA at various forums.

Job Requirements:

  • Registered Assessor
  • Registered Moderator
  • Diploma in Energy or Electricity-related field
  • Relevant Trade Test Certificate
  • Current NAMB Registration
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 3–5 years’ experience in quality assurance, including assessment and moderation of energy/electricity qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Skills Development legislation, Levy Act, NSDP, QCTO processes, SAQA, NQF Act, and related laws
  • Facilitation and presentation skills

The successful candidate’s pay is negotiable and includes a total cost-to-company package with contributions to retirement fund and medical aid from the employer.

  • LGSETA follows Employment Equity principles and may not make an appointment.
  • The appointee must sign a performance agreement.
