Introduction

You will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice and handling day-to-day dispensary administration according to the company’s standard operating procedures.

Job Description

Key Objectives:

• Maintain high standards of customer service and care.
• Manage efficient stock control and administration, including repacking medicines.
• Handle efficient dispensary administration.
• Perform accurate compounding.
• Provide general health advice.
• Ensure high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
• Meet other ad hoc requirements as needed for operations.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Mathematics (essential).
• Meet the minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for Pharmacist Assistant levels (Qualified, Post Basic, and Learner Basic).

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

• Knowledge of products in the health aisle and over-the-counter medicines.
• Understanding of SAPC and relevant legal requirements.
