Introduction

This role involves providing pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice and handling daily dispensary tasks according to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Job Description

Key Objectives:

• Maintain high standards of customer service and care.
• Manage stock control and administration efficiently, including repacking medicines.
• Handle dispensary administration effectively.
• Perform accurate compounding.
• Offer general health advice.
• Keep high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
• Handle additional tasks as needed for operations.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Mathematics (Essential).
• Meet the minimum requirements of the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) for roles as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic).

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

• Knowledge of products in the health aisle and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines.
• Understanding of SAPC and relevant legal requirements.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• High level of integrity.
• Ethical practices and compliance.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic calculation skills.
• Familiarity with IT business operating systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
