Role Purpose
Deliver psychological services and manage therapeutic interventions for residents under the Directorate Facility Management.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent)
- Valid HPCSA registration as Clinical Psychologist
Experience Requirements:
- Grade 1: 0-1 years post-registration experience
- Grade 2: 8-9 years post-registration experience
- Grade 3: 16-17 years post-registration experience
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and diagnosis
- Develop treatment plans and monitor outcomes
- Provide clinical supervision and training
- Maintain professional documentation and records
Required Competencies
- Expertise in HPCSA ethical guidelines
- Knowledge of mental health legislation
- Proficiency in therapeutic interventions
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
