Requirements:
- Matriculation or Grade 12 with passed commercial subjects (such as Business Management, Economics, or Accounting) or an equivalent certificate.
- No experience required.
Knowledge:
- Public Service Financial Management, Supply Chain Framework, LOGIS system, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, and departmental policies and procedures.
Skills:
- Client orientation and customer focus, computer literacy, presentation skills, analytical thinking, communication, and numeracy.
Duties:
- Provide support for contract and tender management according to relevant rules. Administer the opening and closing of tender processes in line with supply chain management policies and Treasury Regulations.
- Procure goods and services in the province following all relevant guidelines. Offer inventory management support to ensure efficiency. Provide asset management support to meet departmental policies.
