Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3-year National Diploma (NQF Level 6)
  • 5 years’ experience in relevant field
  • Completed police/military/correctional basic training
  • SWAT/VIP Protection or Tactical Policing certification
  • Proficiency in English and one other official language
  • Undercover operations experience (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement witness protection programs and risk management strategies
  • Manage Section 204 witnesses and ensure their safety
  • Coordinate court protection operations and stakeholder consultations
  • Handle daily needs of protected persons including logistics and wellbeing
  • Maintain operational records and prepare detailed reports
  • Manage resources and liaise with legal/medical professionals
