Requirements

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or NQF level 7 in Project Management, Local Economic Development, Built Environment, or a related field. You should also have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a project management environment and a valid driver’s licence.

  • Public Service Regulations
  • Treasury Regulations
  • Project Management
  • Report Writing
  • Development of Business Plans

You must also have:

  • Time management skills
  • Decision-making skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Project management skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to communicate with departmental management, staff, councillors, municipalities, private sector companies, the public, and other departments
  • Skills in writing letters and documents to management, the MEC, private sector companies, and other departments
  • Computer literacy
