Company Overview
The North-West University (NWU) operates across two provinces with campuses in Mafikeng, Potchefstroom, and Vaal Triangle. We’re seeking a Project Administrator to support research initiatives in our Quality in Nursing and Midwifery (NuMIQ) Research Focus Area.
Core Responsibilities
Research Coordination
- Coordinate research projects for the SANOPSys program
- Track progress and report to stakeholders
- Support research communications and deliverables
Administrative Support
- Manage research documentation and schedules
- Maintain academic publication records
- Facilitate meetings and minute-taking
Team Collaboration
- Liaise between researchers and departments
- Develop research dissemination strategies
Essential Requirements
- Master’s Degree (NQF 9) in Nursing/Healthcare
- 2+ years academic research experience
- Proficiency in research tools (EndNote, SPSS, REDCap)
- Strong understanding of nursing research ethics
Preferred Qualifications
- Registration with SA Nursing Council
- Experience in healthcare system outcomes research
