Position: Programme Manager: Governance Development Cluster (SDCD19011)

Employment Type: Full Time
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Operations Management or equivalent
Experience Needed: 3-5 years managerial experience in local government
Location: Gauteng
Department: Project Management

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record in municipal operations management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local government legislation
  • Strong financial management capabilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead infrastructure cluster operations and service standard compliance
  • Develop implementation strategies for municipal service delivery
  • Monitor resolution of service complaints through centralized tracking system
  • Ensure adherence to Batho Pele principles in service agreements
  • Manage team performance and departmental budgets
  • Oversee regulatory compliance across all operations
