About the Role
We seek two qualified engineers to support provincial road network management through:
- Strategic planning of construction/maintenance activities
- Road infrastructure protection and improvement
- Collaboration with district engineering teams
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate development proposals affecting road networks
- Implement strategies against unauthorized road network usage
- Conduct road safety assessments and corrective actions
- Oversee road maintenance projects and quality control
- Develop productivity improvement initiatives
- Prepare technical specifications for tender documents
Essential Qualifications
- BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license (Code B)
- ECSA professional registration (non-negotiable)
Preferred Experience
- Road construction project management
- Infrastructure design and budgeting
- Procurement processes and OHSA compliance
- Heavy equipment utilization
