About the Learnership

Macsteel Service Centres SA – VRN Gauteng is looking for motivated learners to join our Production Technology learnership program. The program lasts 12 months and combines classroom learning with hands‑on experience on our production line.

Participants will receive a monthly stipend and will be fully integrated into the company during the training period.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Minimum 50 % in English – essential.
• Minimum 50 % in Mathematics – essential.
• Good communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Age 18–28.
• Commitment to complete the full 12‑month training.
• Must live in Germiston or the surrounding area.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with production line activities.
• Learn and follow production machine procedures.
• Support operators and supervisors with operational tasks.
• Understand operational and distribution workflows.
• Participate in skills assessments and practical training sessions.
