Position Details:

Job Type: Full Time
Experience: 7 years
Minimum Education:
– Grade 12 Certificate
– NQF Level 5 in Water/Wastewater Treatment or Chemical Engineering
– Valid Code B Driver’s License (must pass Rand Water K53 evaluation)
– DWS Class IV Process Controller registration (current or eligible)

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor water quality standards (SANS 0241 Class 1/Rand Water compliance)
• Adjust chemical dosing via SCADA systems to prevent overuse
• Supervise filtration processes and maintain operational parameters
• Generate daily/monthly performance reports
• Lead staff management including safety compliance and shift scheduling
• Document plant irregularities and resolve non-conformance issues
• Maintain collaborative team environments
