Requirements

  • National Diploma in Engineering
  • Valid EB Driver’s License
  • Proficiency in SAP systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electricity metering systems
  • Understanding of SANS 474 standards and Electricity Bylaw
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and various weather conditions
  • Availability for emergency call-outs and overtime duties

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical teams in metering system operations
  • Ensure compliance with national metering standards
  • Oversee maintenance programs and equipment calibration
  • Coordinate with contractors on electrical projects
  • Implement safety protocols and quality control measures
  • Manage CT/VT connected metering systems
