Minimum Requirements
Education:
- NQF4 Trade Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (Senior Artisan dry trade)
Experience:
- 3 years practical experience in power distribution environments
Essential Competencies
Technical Skills:
- Eskom operating standards and procedures
- Power transformer and switchgear operations
- ISO 9001/14001 compliance
- Valid EB driver’s license
Behavioral Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Safety-focused mindset
- Customer service orientation
Key Responsibilities
- Execute specialized maintenance and installation work
- Ensure compliance with safety/environmental standards
- Provide technical coaching to team members
- Manage power system operations up to 132kV
