Principal Road Safety Officer

Position Details:

  • Employment Type: Full-Time Position
  • Education Requirements:
    – Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in:
      • Developmental Studies
      • Communication Studies
      • Education
      • Road Safety & Traffic Management
  • Experience Needed: Minimum 3 years in clerical/administration roles
  • Licensing: Valid Code B Driver’s License
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English and IsiZulu
  • Location: KwaZulu-Natal Province

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor community Road Safety initiatives
  • Coordinate road safety events with stakeholders
  • Contribute to annual performance planning and budget oversight
  • Interpret and apply road safety policies
  • Facilitate public education programs on road safety
