Position: Principal Clerk

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer inquiries and service-related communications
  • Process street vending permits and business license applications
  • Oversee administrative functions including document management
  • Maintain daily transactional records and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with municipal regulations

Minimum Requirements:

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12/NQF Level 4)
  • 2 years’ experience in public administration
  • Proficient in standard office software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional administrative certification
  • 3+ years municipal service experience
