Ray Nkonyeni Municipality is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Principal Clerk – Driver’s Licence Test Centre. This is a full-time opportunity based in KwaZulu-Natal.

• Job Type: Full Time
• Qualification: Grade 12 / Matric
• Experience: 3 years
• Location: KwaZulu-Natal
• Job Field: Administration / Secretarial, Education / Teaching

Requirements:

• Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel)
• Registered Grade L Examiner for Driving Licence
• Ability to operate eNatis System, Licence Pro, and SEU
• Ability to communicate in local spoken languages
• At least 3 years’ experience in the Driving Licence field
• Experience in reconciling daily cash intake is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Issuing of credit card driving licences
• Daily filing and faxing of documentation
• Handling telephonic and public enquiries
• Processing and recording driving licence renewals
• Responding to audit queries related to the Driving Licence Test Centre
• Drawing cash-up documents daily
• Allocating tasks and duties to subordinates
• Managing stock orders, receipts, and issuance
• Conducting Learner’s Licence tests when required
