Position Overview
Role Type: Full-Time
Location: Gauteng
Experience Required: 2+ years teaching experience
Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Education + SACE registration
Key Responsibilities
Educator Development:
– Coach teachers through personalized growth plans
– Lead weekly professional development sessions
– Conduct classroom observations and feedback meetings
Academic Leadership:
– Implement national curriculum with SPARK extensions
– Oversee Learning Lab tutoring programs
– Manage assessment cycles and data analysis
School Operations:
– Support staff recruitment and onboarding
– Enforce disciplinary policies and procedures
– Collaborate with leadership on staff evaluations
Candidate Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
– Valid teaching certification (PGCE/B.Ed)
– Current SACE registration
– Grade 12/NSC certificate
Preferred Experience:
– 2+ years classroom teaching experience
– Team leadership/management background
– Knowledge of labor regulations
– Experience with primary education systems
