Mandatory:
– Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification
– SAPC registration
– Grade 12/Matric certificate
Advantageous:
– Retail/FMCG experience
– Third language proficiency
– SAP & E-Scripting knowledge
Key Responsibilities
Pharmaceutical Services:
– Prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
– Manage medicine storage and stock control
– Process prescriptions and medical aid claims accurately
Patient Care:
– Provide medication usage guidance
– Maintain patient profiles and health records
– Conduct follow-ups on chronic treatments
Operational Excellence:
– Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies
– Adhere to pharmaceutical regulations and SOPs
– Participate in stock management processes
Essential Skills
– Bilingual communication (English + 1 official language)
– Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities
– Detail-oriented with time management skills
– Computer literacy (MS Office suite)
