Essential Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification
- Active registration with SA Pharmacy Council
- Proficiency in English and one other language
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Unisolv/SAP systems
- Oncology medication experience
- Third language proficiency
- Knowledge of family planning medications
Core Responsibilities
- Process prescriptions with 100% accuracy
- Manage inventory of Schedule 1-6 medications
- Compound non-sterile medications per SOPs
- Provide patient medication guidance
- Handle medical aid claims processing
- Maintain strict stock control (FEFO system)
Key Competencies
Essential:
- Advanced numerical skills
- Detail-oriented processing
- Effective patient communication
- Time management proficiency
Advantageous:
- Retail pharmacy experience
- E-prescription familiarity
Employment Conditions

- Physical stamina for extended standing
- Valid driver’s license required
