Core Requirements

  • Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
  • Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification
  • Current registration with South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
  • Proficiency in English and one additional language

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Unisolv/SAP systems
  • Knowledge of oncology treatments
  • Third language proficiency
  • Understanding of retail pharmacy operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage prescription processing and medication dispensing
  • Maintain strict inventory control and stock management
  • Provide patient education on medication usage
  • Process medical aid claims and authorizations
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations
  • Maintain accurate patient records

Essential Skills

  • Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
