Key Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
- Matric Certificate
- Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification
- Current SAPC registration
- Proficiency in English and one additional language
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Unisolv/SAP systems
- Knowledge of oncology protocols
- Third language proficiency
- Understanding of complementary medicine
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage Schedule 1-5 medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process prescriptions and maintain patient profiles
- Handle medicine compounding and repackaging
- Maintain stock control and inventory management
- Provide patient medication guidance and health advice
- Process medical aid claims and resolve billing queries
Key Competencies:
- Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
Working Conditions:
- Retail hour flexibility required
- Physical stamina for prolonged standing
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean criminal and credit record
