Key Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Matric Certificate
  • Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification
  • Current SAPC registration
  • Proficiency in English and one additional language

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Unisolv/SAP systems
  • Knowledge of oncology protocols
  • Third language proficiency
  • Understanding of complementary medicine

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage Schedule 1-5 medications under pharmacist supervision
  • Process prescriptions and maintain patient profiles
  • Handle medicine compounding and repackaging
  • Maintain stock control and inventory management
  • Provide patient medication guidance and health advice
  • Process medical aid claims and resolve billing queries

Key Competencies:

  • Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

Working Conditions:
