Position Summary

Deliver pharmaceutical services under pharmacist supervision, ensuring compliance with regulations while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.

Key Requirements

• ✅ Matric/Grade 12 certificate
• ✅ Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification
• ✅ Active registration with SA Pharmacy Council
• ✅ SAPC-approved competency to handle Schedule 1-5 medications

Preferred Skills

• 🌟 Experience with Unisolv/SAP systems
• 🌟 Knowledge of oncology treatments
• 🌟 Third language proficiency
• 🌟 Understanding of complementary medicine

Core Responsibilities

• ✔️ Process prescriptions accurately under pharmacist supervision
• ✔️ Manage medication inventory and storage
• ✔️ Assist with non-sterile compounding and repackaging
• ✔️ Provide patient guidance on medication usage
• ✔️ Handle medical insurance claims and authorizations

Essential Competencies
