Position Details
- Contract Type: Fixed Term
- Experience: 2+ years in plant operations
- Education: Matric/Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) required
- Location: Emalahleni Local Community
Key Responsibilities
Plant Operations:
- Maximize water production within design parameters
- Perform field adjustments under supervision
- Conduct safety inspections and equipment checks
- Manage chemical stock levels and dosing
Quality Assurance:
- Collect samples and perform basic lab analysis
- Document results and report irregularities
Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and risk assessments
- Maintain workplace housekeeping standards
Essential Requirements
- Matric certificate with Maths/Science advantage
- 2 years water/wastewater plant experience
- 1 year SCADA system familiarity
- Ability to obtain Certificate of Fitness (Red Ticket)
- Manual driver’s license preferred
