About the Role

The Community Work Programme (CWP) seeks a District Coordinator to oversee the implementation and coordination of CWP activities in the Pixley Ka Seme District. The role involves ensuring alignment with service delivery goals, compliance with program standards, and fostering partnerships to support community development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor CWP activities across district sites to ensure alignment with service delivery priorities.
  • Liaise with stakeholders (government, NGOs, community groups) to support program goals.
  • Manage training logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting on training outcomes.
  • Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly reports on program performance and compliance.
  • Monitor participation targets and ensure accurate processing of payments for participants and staff.
  • Conduct site visits to assess compliance, analyze performance, and address challenges.
  • Support audit processes and implement corrective actions for audit findings.
  • Represent CWP in district development forums and collaborate on asset management.

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Public Administration, Social Sciences, Community Development, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or stakeholder management.
  • Resident of the Pixley Ka Seme District.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver’s license.
