Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma (NQF 7) in Mechanical/Civil Engineering
- 5+ years’ pipeline/mechanical engineering experience (water industry preferred)
- Project management proficiency
- ECSA registration (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license (Code 8)
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
Core Responsibilities
- Commission mechanical equipment and pipelines
- Manage critical equipment inventories
- Conduct plant condition analyses
- Optimize pipeline configurations for energy efficiency
- Troubleshoot technical equipment failures
- Implement quality control systems for repairs
- Ensure compliance with engineering regulations
- Supervise contractor activities
