Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time Position
- Education Requirements:
– National Diploma in Pharmacy
– Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree
– Current registration with SA Pharmacy Council - Experience: Minimum 3 years (Primary healthcare experience preferred)
- License: Valid Code 8 Driver’s License
- Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Essential Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of essential medicines and drug protocols
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Act regulations
- Manage medication lifecycle including procurement, storage, and distribution
- Implement pharmaceutical inventory control systems
- Oversee pharmacy assistants and operational workflows
- Monitor medication budgets and consumption patterns
- Provide clinical guidance to healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate pharmaceutical records
