Position Details

  • Education Requirements:
    – National Diploma in Pharmacy
    – Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree
    – Current registration with SA Pharmacy Council
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years (Primary healthcare experience preferred)
  • License: Valid Code 8 Driver’s License
  • Location: Cape Town, Western Cape

  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities

  • Effective communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Act regulations
  • Manage medication lifecycle including procurement, storage, and distribution
  • Implement pharmaceutical inventory control systems
  • Oversee pharmacy assistants and operational workflows
  • Monitor medication budgets and consumption patterns
  • Provide clinical guidance to healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate pharmaceutical records
