Introduction

You will provide pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice and handle day-to-day dispensary administration according to the company’s Standard Operating Plans (SOPs). The main focus is on script administration and general dispensing duties, with an emphasis on patient satisfaction.

Job Objectives

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers professionally and maintain strict confidentiality within SOPs and agreed timelines.
  • Handle script administration and any related claiming or capturing procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and complete management of all patient profiles.
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals when needed.
  • Solve problems and follow up on queries.

Duties

  • Assist customers by phone or other means with medication and healthcare services.
  • Accurately capture scripts received at the central pharmacy.
  • Manage queries about prescriptions.
  • Handle patient profile management.
  • Help with chronic medication authorizations.
  • Coordinate with other departments.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by operations.

Knowledge Required

  • Knowledge of products, including over-the-counter (OTC) items.
  • Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant laws.
  • Strong knowledge of chronic authorization processes and procedures.
  • Customer service focus.
