Introduction

You will provide pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice and handle daily dispensary administration according to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The focus is on dispensing scripts and ensuring patient satisfaction.

Job Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers professionally and maintain strict confidentiality within SOPs and set timelines.
  • Administer scripts and handle any claiming or capturing procedures accurately.
  • Manage all patient profiles completely and accurately.
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals when necessary.
  • Solve problems and follow up on queries.

Duties

  • Assist customers by phone or other means with medication and healthcare services.
  • Capture scripts accurately at the central pharmacy.
  • Handle prescription queries.
  • Manage patient profiles.
  • Help with chronic medication authorizations.
  • Work with other departments as needed.
  • Handle additional tasks based on operational needs.

Knowledge Required

  • Knowledge of products, including over-the-counter (OTC) items.
  • Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant laws.
  • Familiarity with chronic authorization processes and procedures.
  • Customer service focus.
  • Ethical practices and compliance.
