Pharmacist Assistant QPB – Clicks Northridge Mall Jobs

Introduction

You will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice and handling day-to-day dispensary administration according to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The main focus is on script administration and general dispensing duties, with an emphasis on patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers professionally and maintain strict confidentiality within SOPs and agreed timelines.
• Administer scripts and perform any related claiming or capturing procedures.
• Handle all profiles accurately and completely.
• Interact with healthcare professionals when needed.
• Solve problems and follow up on queries.

Duties

• Interact with customers by phone or other means about medication and healthcare services.
• Accurately capture scripts received at the Central Pharmacy centre.
• Handle queries about prescriptions.
• Manage patient profiles.
• Assist with chronic authorizations.
• Liaise with other departments.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as required by operations.

Knowledge Required

• Product knowledge, including over-the-counter (OTC) items.
• Knowledge of SAPC regulations and relevant laws.
• Strong understanding of chronic authorization processes and procedures.
