Introduction

This role involves providing pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice and handling daily dispensary tasks according to company standards. The focus is on managing scripts and general dispensing to ensure patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers professionally and confidentially, following standard procedures and timelines.
  • Handle script administration and related claiming or capturing tasks.
  • Ensure accurate and complete management of all patient profiles.
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals when necessary.
  • Resolve issues and follow up on queries.

Duties

  • Assist customers by phone or other methods with medication and healthcare questions.
  • Accurately capture scripts received at the central pharmacy.
  • Manage prescription-related queries.
  • Handle patient profile updates.
  • Support chronic medication authorizations.
  • Coordinate with other departments.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed for operations.

Knowledge Required

  • Understanding of products, including over-the-counter items.
  • Knowledge of SAPC regulations and relevant laws.
  • Familiarity with chronic authorization processes.
  • Strong customer service approach.
  • Commitment to ethical practices and compliance.

Experience
