Introduction

This role involves providing pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice and handling daily dispensary tasks according to company standards. The focus is on script administration and general dispensing to ensure patient satisfaction.

Job Objectives

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers professionally and confidentially, following standard procedures and timelines.
  • Handle script administration and related claiming or capturing tasks.
  • Manage all patient profiles accurately and completely.
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals when necessary.
  • Solve problems and follow up on queries.

Duties

  • Assist customers by phone or other methods with questions about medications and healthcare services.
  • Capture scripts accurately at the central pharmacy.
  • Resolve prescription-related queries.
  • Manage patient profiles.
  • Help with chronic medication authorizations.
  • Work with other departments as needed.
  • Handle additional tasks based on operational needs.

Knowledge Required

  • Knowledge of products, including over-the-counter items.
  • Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant laws.
  • Familiarity with chronic authorization processes.
  • Strong customer service approach.
  • Commitment to ethical practices and compliance.
