Introduction

  • You will provide pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice and handle daily dispensary tasks according to company standard operating procedures.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high standards of customer service and care.
  • Manage stock control and administration efficiently, including repacking medicines.
  • Handle dispensary administration effectively.
  • Perform accurate compounding.
  • Offer general health advice.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
  • Handle any additional tasks as needed for operations.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric with Mathematics (essential).
  • Meet the minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for Pharmacist Assistant levels (Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic).

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of products in the health aisle and over-the-counter medicines.
  • Understanding of SAPC and relevant legal requirements.
  • Customer service focus.
