Pharmacist Assistant QPB – Clicks Dainfern Square Jobs

Introduction

Responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services (within scope of practice) and performing day-to-day dispensary administration according to the company’s Standard Operating Plans (SOPs). Focus on administering scripts and providing general dispensing duties, with an emphasis on patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers professionally and maintain strict confidentiality within SOPs and agreed timelines.
• Administer scripts and handle any claiming or capturing procedures.
• Ensure accurate and complete handling of all profiles worked on.
• Interact with healthcare professionals when needed.
• Solve problems and follow up on queries.

Duties

• Interact with customers via telephone or other means regarding medication and healthcare services.
• Accurately capture scripts received at the Central Pharmacy centre.
• Handle queries regarding prescriptions.
• Manage patient profiles.
• Assist with chronic authorizations.
• Liaise with all other departments.
• Handle ad hoc requirements as per operational needs.

Knowledge

• Product knowledge (including over-the-counter items).
• SAPC and relevant legal knowledge.
• Sound knowledge of chronic authorization processes and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:
